This may be old news but whats the story about the Dixie chicks and jail?

I don't think they have been in jail.but they have all been in court being sued for various reasons.I think the latest was Natalie running her mouth about some guy in a murder case who sued her for slander or something.It was settled out of court which usually means the person was paid to drop the suit.
