How dependable is YOUR god?

Only GOD is dependable. He is there with me every moment, in this life, at times of crisis, at times of joy, at the time of death and beyond death --- always. Men may come and men may from my life but God remains with me always. God never leaves me because of my shortcomings. God never leaves me because I do not accept his existence or I do not worship Him or because I talk ill of Him. God is free from anger, revenge, and tit for tat. He is always kind, benevolent, loving and caring. I would like to share with you a short story. A person one day while looking back at his life saw on the sands of time two sets of footprints. He asked God whose footprints they were. God replied that one set was God's and the other pair was his (man's) After some time one set disappeared. When he recalled he found that it related to the most difficult time of his life. In pain and agony he asked God, in great anguish, God, you left me at time of deepest distress! God replied No my dear child I can never do that. The one pair of footprints that you see is not yours. It is mine. I was carrying you in may lap during those times of distress. Thanks for your question because it was so lovely and allowed me a chance to remember the Kind, benevolent God who is master of you and me.
