Is it okay to feed my dogs canned pumpkin (organic) and cottage cheese every meal?

I have a Labrador and Chihuahua, my Chi had bad diarrhea and I gave it canned organic pumpkin, cottage cheese and chicken broth to treat it, it worked. But now I've been giving both dogs a combination of pumpkin, cottage cheese, and dry dog food (Nature's Variety Instinct). They go nuts over this and get very excited when I'm about to feed them. Anyways, is feeding pumpkin and cottage cheese for every meal good for them, I know it's mainly use for digestive purposes, but I need to be sure cause I don't want my dogs to get sick.
