After taking certain types of food, my left temple would throb with very intense pain and sleepiness. Why?

Sometimes when I get that, I would confuse between feeling sleepy and having a headache... but only when I feel the throbbing temple I realize that it was the headache that makes me extremely sleepy. The types of food include fruits like black g (and g juice), oranges, red watermelon; processed food such as frankfurters or sausages and pickles, oily food, especially those deep fried in used oil, beef and lamb steaks, certain types of cheese, certain types or candies or candy bars etc. I "experimented" with peanuts, pistachios, french pastries, green gs, honeydew melon, fruitcakes, BigMacs and McD's chic nuggets and they are all OK.
